Modules description

Antivirus
Blocks viruses even before they can reach the target PC. It can scan downloaded files as well as files sent by email. Daily updates provide maximum protection against malware.

Antispam
Filters and blocks spam incoming via POP3, IMAP and SMTP protocol.

Firewall
Traditional firewall allows to control and(or) log internet TCP or UDP traffic based on user defined rules.

Adblocker
Blocks internet ads displayed on web pages. It lowers the internet bandwidth and reduces the time spent by web page loading.

Web Filter
Allows to deny access to web page categories with specific content(pornography, job search etc.) or to certain web pages specified by the user.

Captive portal
Captive Portal allows administrators to require network users to log in or accept a network usage policy before accessing the internet. Captive Portal also can force the internet user to display certain web page before browsing (facebook page, company page etc.).

Application Filter
Can log or block internet access to certain applications and services, such as AIM, streaming music, peer to peer apps etc.

Intrusion Prevention
Intrusion Prevention is an Intrusion Detection system that detects malicious activity on your network. To detect malicious activity, Intrusion Prevention uses signature detection, a method that draws upon a database of known attack patterns.

Attack blocker
Protects again attack from the internet to local network. It also blocks DOS attacks.

VPN
VPN enables you to create an SSL-based VPN (virtual private network) that supports both site-to-site and client-to-site tunnels. This allows your road warrior users to connect to local resources as if they were in the office.

Reports
This module allows to generate a round-up as well as detailed report from each of the modules. Also it allows to send these reports aically by email daily, weekly or monthly.

Each of the modules is updated regularly from the internet and is based on open-source technology.
Some of the module features can be extended by buying a pro version of the module.
